Softball Game Preview: Plato Eagles vs. Bradleyville Eagles

Plato will head out to take on Bradleyville at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Plato was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Summersville on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Eagles have won 14 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bradleyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Crane.

Plato's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Bradleyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
