Preview: Bethlehem Wildcats vs. Altha Wildcats
The Bethlehem Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Altha Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Bethlehem suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Thursday. They suffered a rough 49-28 loss at the hands of Paxton. While losing is never fun, Bethlehem can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 359th, while Paxton is ranked 149th).
Meanwhile, Altha's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 48-40 to Cottondale.
This is the second loss in a row for Bethlehem and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Altha, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-13.
Everything came up roses for Bethlehem against Altha when the teams last played two weeks ago as the team secured a 46-6 win. Does Bethlehem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Altha turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
