North Miami Beach piles up the points against Jackson

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pine Forest, the North Miami Beach Chargers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They blew past Jackson 55-16 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for North Miami Beach's eight-point performance the matchup before.
North Miami Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Laila Henderson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Henderson has scored at least 25% of North Miami Beach's points. Another player making a difference was Vanejia Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 steals.
The victory got North Miami Beach back to even at 1-1. As for Jackson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
North Miami Beach will be playing at home against Somerset Academy Central Miramar at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Westland Hialeah at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
