Basketball Recap: Sheridan Has No Trouble Against Denver Academy + How To Watch

Sheridan lost to Denver Academy back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rams enjoyed a cozy 74-56 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Bobby Garcia was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 10-for-21 to rack up 25 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noah Gallegos, who posted 17 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Sheridan was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They racked up 13 more assists than Denver Academy's also-impressive total of 11.

Denver Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Harrison Dority, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Chris Janssen was another key player, putting up 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Sheridan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Denver Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sheridan will take on Liberty Tree Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denver Academy, they will challenge Twin Peaks Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
