Football Preview: Law Lawmen vs. Shelton Gaels
After three games on the road, Law is heading back home. They will welcome the Shelton Gaels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Law is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Sheehan on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Law had to suffer through a 48-20 loss at the hands of Sheehan.
Despite their defeat, Law saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Connor Malin, who rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 30 receiving yards, was perhaps the best of all.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 49 points the game before, Shelton was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 10-3 to Cheshire. The game marked the Gaels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
