Softball Recap: Olympic Heights Takes a Loss

Olympic Heights lost against Boca Raton on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Bobcats, falling 11-5. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elsie Throckmorton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Olympic Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Boca Raton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Olympic Heights will take on Suncoast at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Boca Raton, they will head out to challenge West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats are facing the Bulls at the right time seeing as the Bulls are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
