Grayson Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed by Varsity Opponent at home to the tune of 62-29.
Grayson Christian relied on the efforts of Zane Rostyne, who scored 12 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds, and Treyvon Ballard, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Ayden Stout was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Heritage Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road back in October and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 56-38 fall against Covenant Classical.
Grayson Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Grayson Christian came up short against Heritage Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January, falling 49-39. Can Grayson Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
