Volleyball Recap: Wausau West Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wausau West was the 2-1 winner over Northland Pines when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.

Ella Bohlin paced Wausau West's offense, picking up five kills. Bohlin got some help from Ava Ngo and her ten assists. Addy Vaughn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northland Pines found their leader in sophomore Eden Smith, who had 21 digs and two assists. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Wausau West's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Northland Pines, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-12 record this season.
