Baseball Game Preview: Marked Tree Indians vs. Armorel Tigers

Marked Tree hasn't had much luck against Armorel recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Marked Tree Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Armorel Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Marked Tree didn't have quite enough to beat Trumann and fell 15-14.

Meanwhile, Armorel made easy work of Buffalo Island Central on Tuesday and carried off a 15-5 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted against the Mustangs since April 4, 2017.

The win made it two in a row for Armorel and bumps their season record up to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.5 runs. As for Marked Tree, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
