After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Augustine Prep, Vineland was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Schalick Cougars 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Clan in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Vineland's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nathaya Perez, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Vineland's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Schalick, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.

Vineland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 victory against Hammonton on the 27th. As for Schalick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Woodstown on the 27th.
