Softball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Snook Christian Academy was the 9-1 winner over Aletheia Christian Academy when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-13 to the Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lilly Lovin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kenley Gray, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Snook Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Snook Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 14-2 loss against West Florida Baptist Academy on the 8th. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-11 defeat against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on the 8th.
