Basketball Recap: Struthers Comes Up Short

Struthers was the 67-46 winner over Lakeview when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Struthers Wildcats lost 81-55 to the Lakeview Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Struthers' loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lakeview, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Struthers has already played their next contest (against Poland Seminary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lakeview will head out on the road to challenge Hubbard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview is facing Hubbard at the right time seeing as Hubbard is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
