Soccer Recap: Bauxite Comes Up Short

If Bauxite was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Arkadelphia on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners came up short against the De Queen Leopards on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The loss continues a trend for Bauxite in their meetings with De Queen: they've now lost seven in a row.

Bauxite's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for De Queen, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
