Basketball Recap: IDEA Quest College Prep's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

IDEA Quest College Prep entered their tilt with Monte Alto on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 73-66 victory over the Monte Alto Blue Devil. This was a revenge game for the Trailblazers: when they faced off against the Blue Devil back in January, they had to take a 68-61 defeat.

Despite the loss, Monte Alto still got an impressive performance from Ricky Serrano, who went 13 of 28 on his way to 38 points and three steals. The contest was Serrano's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ramiro Vazquez, who posted ten points.

IDEA Quest College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Monte Alto, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season.

As for Monte Alto, they will be playing at home against IDEA Edinburg College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
