Largo typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday St. Petersburg proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Packers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Green Devils have posted against the Packers since September 27, 2019.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (107-101) St. Petersburg actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 19-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-13.

St. Petersburg found their leader in sophomore Maeve Overcast, who had 25 digs and two aces. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Overcast.

St. Petersburg has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Largo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-3.
