Volleyball Recap: Freedom's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Freedom lost against Waupaca back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Irish fell 3-1 to the Comets.

While Freedom ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 18-25, 25-21.

Freedom's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10. As for Waupaca, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Freedom will square off against rival Wrightstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Waupaca is set to face off against their familiar foe Little Chute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
