Basketball Game Preview: Immanuel Christian Warriors vs. Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks

The Immanuel Christian Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Immanuel Christian, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Fairfax HomeSchool's (thus far) undefeated season.

On Tuesday, Immanuel Christian came up short against Wakefield School and fell 26-18.

Meanwhile, Fairfax HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid win over Chelsea Academy on Saturday, taking the game 43-33. The 43-point effort marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Immanuel Christian might still be hurting after the 45-23 loss they got from Fairfax HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Immanuel Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
