Football Recap: Green Takes a Loss

Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the South Gallia Rebels, falling 68-6. The Bobcats lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in October of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-19 score last time.

Green's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Gallia, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Green and South Gallia will both be playing Eastern the next time they take the field. The Rebels will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
