Basketball Game Preview: Rushville-Industry Rockets vs. Camp Point Central Panthers

Rushville-Industry hasn't had much luck against Camp Point Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rushville-Industry Rockets will head out to challenge the Camp Point Central Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rushville-Industry took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They strolled past Barry Western with points to spare, taking the game 54-36. The win was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Camp Point Central had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 44-40 victory over Griggsville-Perry on Thursday.

Rushville-Industry's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-13. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Camp Point Central, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

Rushville-Industry might still be hurting after the 56-30 loss they got from Camp Point Central when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Rushville-Industry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
