Soccer Recap: Mansfield Comes Up Short

Mansfield managed to keep up with Martin until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 5-1 to the Warriors. Mansfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Martin apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Martin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Mansfield and Martin will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers will square off against rival Boswell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Martin is set to face off against their familiar foe Lamar at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
