Volleyball Recap: Huntley Beats Wahlert for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Huntley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wahlert Golden Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

Izzy Whitehouse paced Huntley's offense, picking up eight kills. Whitehouse got some help from Abby Whitehouse and her ten assists. Abby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Huntley's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Wahlert, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Huntley and Wahlert will both be playing Marist the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will head out to face the RedHawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Red Raiders will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
