Baseball Recap: West Mesquite Takes a Loss

West Mesquite lost to North Mesquite on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wranglers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions. The Wranglers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Mesquite saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tony Rivas, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

West Mesquite's loss dropped their record down to 10-21. As for North Mesquite, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. West Mesquite will square off against rival Samuell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Mesquite is set to challenge their familiar foe Spruce at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
