Recap: Wilson Mules vs. Franklin Panthers
Even though the Franklin Panthers scored an imposing 57 points on Wednesday, the Wilson Mules still came out on top. Wilson took their game against the Panthers 66-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wilson.
Wilson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Diego Burgara, who scored 21 points. Burgara has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicky Wu, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Wilson's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-9. As for Franklin, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
Wilson will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Eagle Rock's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matchups. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to take on the Barristers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
