Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 52-32 to the Oakdale Warriors.

Phoenix's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Oakdale, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Phoenix will square off against Frederick A. Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Oakdale, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-23 victory against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville on the 24th.
