Basketball Recap: Mosinee Indians vs. D.C. Everest Evergreens
Mosinee lost against D.C. Everest back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mosinee Indians took an 87-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of the D.C. Everest Evergreens. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Brayden Reinke and Treve Stoffel certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Reinke went 13 for 16 en route to 30 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Stoffel dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 assists. Reinke's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Carson Balgord, who posted 11 points and five assists.
Mosinee's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for D.C. Everest, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Mosinee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 69-37 victory against Northland Pines on the 11th. As for D.C. Everest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-55 win against Wausau West on the 7th.
