Basketball Recap: Livingston Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Livingston, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Belleville Buccaneers 58-40 on Tuesday. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Livingston is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Belleville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Livingston has already played their next contest (against Orange), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Belleville has already played their next match, a 54-45 defeat against Science Park on the 23rd.
