Softball Recap: Belleview Wins Going Away Against P.K. Yonge

Belleview was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against P.K. Yonge on Friday. The Rattlers put the hurt on the Blue Wave with a sharp 8-2 victory.

Ally Axe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Axe was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Belleview let Harper Foote and Mackenzie Quartararo run wild. Foote scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Quartararo scored a run while going 2-for-3. Randi O'Cull was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Belleview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as P.K. Yonge only posted a batting average of .125.
