            Hamilton Southeastern had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Lawrence Central on Monday. The Royals put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp  11-1 victory. The Royals not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 5th (when they won  17-1).

 Tyler Sarver looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Hamilton Southeastern is 2-1 when he allows at  most  two  earned runs, but 4-9 otherwise.
 At the plate,  Maddux Bach was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  stolen bases, four  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jackson Bixler, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  run.
 Hamilton Southeastern  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .567. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  matches.
