Volleyball Recap: Stratford Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Stratford entered their tilt with Marathon on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Red Raiders. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Raiders, too.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Stratford got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 18-25, 15-12.

Stratford's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Marathon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Stratford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rib Lake on the 30th. As for Marathon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Thorp on the 30th.
