Football Recap: Mount Miguel Matadors vs. Oceanside Pirates
Mount Miguel dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 26-25 to the Oceanside Pirates. Despite 92 more yards than the Pirates, the Matadors couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Mount Miguel's loss came despite strong showings from Jeremiah Loper and Aj Logan. Loper threw for 215 yards and four touchdowns, while Logan picked up 147 receiving yards and three scores.
