Soccer Recap: Tahlequah Comes Up Short

Tahlequah came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the East Central Cardinals, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Tahlequah in their meetings with East Central: they've now lost seven in a row.

Tahlequah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for East Central, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tahlequah will face off against McLain Science & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tahlequah will be up against McLain Science & Tech's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.29 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for East Central, they will take on Will Rogers College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
