Pleasant Plains came tearing into Wednesday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Riverton Hawks 61-47. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 40-39 win back in January.

Pleasant Plains pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points over those games. As for Riverton, their loss dropped their record down to 22-10.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Plains will square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Plains knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Auburn likes a good challenge.
