Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Pflugerville suffered their biggest loss since October 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Liberty Hill, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for Pflugerville in their meetings with Liberty Hill: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.

Leading Liberty Hill to victory were Charisa Tuley and Lauren Bedre. Tuley had ten digs and four aces, while Bedre had six kills. Those six kills gave Bedre a new career-high.

Pflugerville's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Liberty Hill, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

Coming up, Pflugerville will venture away from home to take on Lockhart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Hill, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tompkins at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
