Volleyball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howard Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Northeast may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Howard, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Howard has already played their next matchup (against Westside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northeast will be paying especially close attention to the Huskies' game: after the Huskies face off against Academy for Classical Education, they'll take on Northeast again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
