Basketball Game Preview: Glenbrook South Titans vs. New Trier Trevians

The Glenbrook South Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the New Trier Trevians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Glenbrook South fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Evanston on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Wildkits 52-47. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, New Trier entered their tilt with Glenbrook North on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 64-36 win over the Spartans. The Trevians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 28 points or more this season.

New Trier pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37 points. As for Glenbrook South, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Glenbrook South was able to grind out a solid win over New Trier in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 67-55. Does Glenbrook South have another victory up their sleeve, or will New Trier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
