Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

Ellsworth's tournament run continued when they took on Aquinas on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blugolds. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9.

Aquinas can attribute much of their success to Adelaide Bezemek, who had 23 assists and four digs. Bezemek is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Ellsworth's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Aquinas, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Ellsworth has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Florence on the 4th. As for Aquinas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stanley-Boyd on the 4th.
