Softball Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland fell victim to Coeur d'Alene and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 13-0 to the Vikings. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Lakeland has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Coeur d'Alene, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.

While Lakeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
