Football Recap: Manitowoc Lincoln Takes a Loss

Manitowoc Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Notre Dame Academy Tritons, falling 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Ships can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Tritons are ranked 16th).

Manitowoc Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Notre Dame Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Manitowoc Lincoln is set to square off against their familiar foe Green Bay West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy will take on rival Menasha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
