Football Recap: Camden Cox and Hunter Lockerman Secure Win for River Ridge + How To Watch

River Ridge won the last time they faced Denmark and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights walked away with a 17-7 win over Denmark. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Leading River Ridge to victory were Hunter Lockerman and Camden Cox. Lockerman threw for 222 yards and one touchdown on only 15 passes, while Cox rushed for 103 yards and one TD. Those 103 rushing yards gave Cox a new career-high.

River Ridge's record is now 2-0. As for Denmark, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will take on Allatoona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Denmark, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
