Volleyball Recap: Mira Costa Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mira Costa couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Marymount Sailors on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Sailors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-15.

Audrey Flanagan paced Mira Costa's offense, picking up 12 kills. Flanagan got some help from Milly McGee and her 20 assists.

Mira Costa's defeat dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Marymount, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 37-5.

Mira Costa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marymount, they will take on Sierra Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
