Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Independence). They blew past the Independent Panthers, posting an 83-23 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won four contests in a row.

Independence's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Independent, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence will welcome Labette County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Independent has already played their next matchup (against Kingman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
