Soccer Game Preview: Liberty Hill vs. Cedar Park

The Liberty Hill Panthers will square off against the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Liberty Hill's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Hays as Liberty Hill made off with a 3-0 win. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Hawks are ranked 657th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cedar Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Glenn on Friday.

Cedar Park has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those six contests. Liberty Hill now has a winning record of 8-7-7.
