            West Florida is 10-0 against Pensacola Catholic since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The West Florida Jaguars will look to defend their home court  against the Pensacola Catholic Crusaders  at 1:30  p.m. West Florida will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
West Florida is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past Escambia, posting  a  74-36 victory. Given the Jaguars' advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 104th, while the Gators are ranked 480th), the result  on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Florida to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Shania Beeks, who  went 8 of 19  en route to 19  points in addition to eight  assists and six  boards. That's the most points  Beeks has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keyarsten Lewis, who  went 6 for 10  on her way to 14  points along with eight  assists and five  steals.
 West Florida  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 18 consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Pensacola Catholic didn't have quite enough to beat St. Michael Catholic on Thursday and fell  37-35. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Cardinals : they've now lost nine in a row.
 West Florida's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Pensacola Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
 Everything went West Florida's way against Pensacola Catholic when the teams last played  back in January of 2020, as West Florida made off with  a  50-27 victory.
