On Saturday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the court. The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders came out on top against the Orono Spartans by a score of 75-64. The victory was just business as usual for the Raiders, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Tommy Ahneman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 13 boards, and ten assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ty Schlagel, who went 8 of 13 en route to 20 points and five rebounds.

Cretin-Derham Hall's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Orono, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cretin-Derham Hall will take on East Ridge in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Cretin-Derham Hall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Orono, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Delano at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Delano will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Orono surely won't give up without a fight.
