Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Day Takes a Loss

Spartanburg Day lost against Greenwood Christian last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartanburg Day Griffins fell to the Greenwood Christian Hawks 49-45.

Greenwood Christian was led to victory by Isaiah Scott-Palacios and Ty Kennedy. Scott-Palacios posted 25 points and seven rebounds, while Kennedy dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. Scott-Palacios' evening made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Spartanburg Day's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Greenwood Christian, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Spartanburg Day nor Greenwood Christian have any future games scheduled.
