Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fernley walked away with it. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 44-43 win over the Spring Creek Spartans. The victory was familiar territory for the Vaqueros, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

As for Spring Creek, they will take on Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday.
