Basketball Recap: Williamstown's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Williamstown extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Nick Mascitti. The Williamstown Blue Devils walked away with a 57-46 victory over the Danville Bears on Monday thanks in part to Mascitti, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Evan Bailey, who posted 11 points and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last four times he's played.

Williamstown is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for Danville, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Williamstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-55 win against Bellows Free Academy on the 5th. Danville has also already played their next contest, a 42-41 victory against Winooski on the 4th.
