Volleyball Recap: Ellison Takes a Loss

Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Troy Trojans. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trojans when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ellison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Ellison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rock Hill on the 16th. As for Troy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 16th.
