KC Peter leads New Bern Christian Academy to victory over Liberty Christian Academy

Recap: New Bern Christian Academy vs. Liberty Christian Academy Heat

New Bern Christian Academy's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took down Liberty Christian Academy 61-47. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for New Bern Christian Academy considering their 23-point performance the contest before.

KC Peter was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyler Willis, who scored 16 points.

Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Mark Bachmann, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Bachmann is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Pierre, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

Even though they lost, Liberty Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as New Bern Christian Academy only pulled down four offensive rebounds.

New Bern Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Bern Christian Academy will take on Gramercy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gramercy Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three matchups. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Greenville Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. Hopefully Greenville Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday.
