The North Miami Warriors will head out to challenge the Caston Comets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Miami will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
North Miami barely beat North Judson-San Pierre the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Bluejays on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Drew Wright was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Logan Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Ryan Meredith was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs.
North Miami kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Caston never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top against Pioneer by a score of 3-0. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Carson Harness, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Pioneer off the board.
At the plate, Caston saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Mollenkopf, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
North Miami's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Caston, their record is now 16-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. North Miami has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Caston struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North Miami couldn't quite finish off Caston in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 and fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
